I got my PhD degree in Electerical and Computer Engineering from University of
California, Irvine (UCI) in 2007. During my PhD, I was working on
No-Instruction-Set Computer (NISC) Technology under supervision of
Professor Gajski. NISC Technology is used for design of efficient
application-specific processors as well as behavioral synthesis (i.e.
C-to-Verilog synthesis).
During my study in UCI, I also worked on power management and low-power design
with my co-advisors Professor
Bagherzadeh and Professor Chou
as part of IMPACCT project.
My research/work interests are: design automation, high-level/logic
synthesis and optimization, application-specific processor/toolset design, ESL, power
optimization/estimation, modeling and simulation, embedded system design,
software-architecture design, hardware/logic design, or distributed software
development.
